Training and Seminars
MJM Acoustical Consultants Inc. offers seminars or conferences to professionals (architects, engineers, etc.) and to our customers who wish to improve their knowledge of architecture, environmental acoustics and noise and vibration control.
Free 1-hour training from among the following three choices:
- Review of Noise Regulations, Building Codes and Building Acoustics Norms and Standards
- Numerical modeling tools for building acoustics
- Basic notions of building acoustics (dB, STC, etc.)
1/2-day or 1-day training courses on the following topics:
- Airborne and impact noise insulation in residential and commercial buildings
- Environmental acoustics (road, rail and airport noise)
- Noise and vibration control (mechanical and electrical equipment)
- Room acoustics and reverberation control
